COVID-19 ERA : NEVER TO REPEAT

‘No School’ ‘No College’ ‘Work from Home’

‘Postponing of all Major Global Events / Launches / Tournaments / Travel’, etc. ‘Nation-wide Lockdown’   A forceful measure to keep all mankind safe from a pandemic outbreak of a disease known as COVID-19.

Covid-19 – The Virus

In December 2019, a novel coronavirus called SARS-CoV-2 has resulted in the outbreak of a respiratory illness known as COVID-19. As per the WHO, Covid-19 is established as a Pandemic disease and spreads by cough, sneezes, or close proximity of the infected.

It can also spread if a person touches a surface with the virus on it and then touches his or her mouth, nose, or eyes. The Symptoms are Fever, Cough, Shortness of breath, and difficulty in breathing.

Impact of Lockdown on Citizens

Covid-19 created panic and commotion in the world making each individual cautious and a victim of social distancing. As we are in a Lockdown, only limited essential stores and medical outlets were permitted to be put in service to meet the essential needs of an individual.

With the limited outlets to purchase essentials, it became difficult for citizens to get their desired products despite waiting long hours in ques. Taking into account such a scenario, other methods of distribution were put to service by means of mobile vans catering to the essential needs like vegetables, fruits, etc.

In today’s world where everyone is very social and things moving at a quick pace, it is difficult to remain isolated as it may lead to mental imbalance and instability.

Social distancing, i.e. nation-wide lockdown was declared by our Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in order to take appropriate action against the affected and get the situation in control since the virus gets easily transmitted from one person to the other, thus such a step was essential.

Similar decisions were taken by many other countries to cope with the deadly virus from spreading further. As our country has densely populated pockets, it is essential to curb any movement especially in a declared situation of a lockdown.

Fighting Covid-19

We highly appreciate and extend our gratitude to all health workers, farmers, vendors, Police officials, our Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Municipal Corporations, and any other essential workers that have helped this Nation cope with a situation such as a lockdown.

As per the official GOI website of COVID – 19: The Government of India is taking all necessary steps to ensure that we are prepared well to face the challenge and threat posed by the growing pandemic of COVID-19 Corona Virus. With the active support of the people of India, we have been able to contain the spread of the virus in our country. The most important factor in preventing the spread of the Virus locally is to empower the citizens with the right information and taking precautions as per the advisories being issued by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.

Economic Condition

Covid-19 has harmed and affected the Global Economies due to the Global Trade Lockdown. This has led to temporary termination of manufacturing and supplying making it difficult to generate revenues. With a complete stop in local and international trading activities, the export-import market is heavily affected.

During this crisis, in India many organizations, institutions,  personalities,  individuals have come forward to help combat Covid-19 by means of donations, food supplies, medical aid, logistics support, etc. to help meet the requirements.

Our sincere and heartfelt condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones battling this deadly virus. We pray together that we come out of this pandemic completely and pray for the safety of everyone.
